Great Networking at BI Alumni Networking Dinner

Over 30 alumni and students from BI Norwegian Business School attended the 2014 Annual Alumni Networking Dinner in late February in Shanghai. The ARK Restaurant in the city’s downtown area framed the event in a nice and tasteful atmosphere.

Make the most of these events

Prof. Rolv Petter Amdam, the Dean of BI Norwegian Business School`s Executive Programs was the host of the event.  He extended a warm welcome to the BI Norwegian Business School alumni from different programs and wished good luck to the new students in year 2014. Prof. Jan Ketil Arnulf, the Associate Dean of BI Norwegian Business School for the BI-Fudan MBA Program in Shanghai and Prof. Xu Huizhong, Executive Director of BI-Fudan MBA Program also gave small speeches. They both strongly encouraged the BI Norwegian Business School alumni to come to future events and make the most out of this unique opportunity to network with fellow alumni.  

Important to be active

The business speaker of the event was Mr. David Zhang, Technical Support & After Sales Service Manager, Greater China, Festo (China) Ltd.

He made a presentation about Join & Share, the BI-Fudan MBA Programme’s alumni and student organization. In addition to informing about Join & Share’s activities, events, organizational structure and responsibilities, he said it could be very rewarding to be active in this organization.

Different programs

The Alumni Networking Dinner attracted alumni and students from a variety of programs. Alumni from Master of Science Program, Master of Management Program, Bachelor in International Marketing Program and BI-Fudan MBA Program and the previous Change Management Program were present. This made the event an exciting venue for creating new relations.

Upcoming events

In a busy life it is not always possible to attend everything you want to. But if you missed this event, the next possibility to mingle with fellow BI Norwegian Business School and to establish Fudan relations is to attend our next event – the Norway Day on 15 April in Fudan University. The Norway Day is organized by the Royal Norwegian Consulate General in Shanghai and BI Norwegian Business School is one of the active partners of the event. The detailed information about Norway Day will be announced on our website and WeChat shortly.
