We feel very sad to hear that Prof. Svein Arne Jessen has passed away. We just could not believe that it was true.

From 1996 to 2012, Prof. Jessen witnessed program progress and mostly delivered the first module. For years he always started the 1st course ‘Project and Change Management’ and we assumed it was natural to meet him at the opening of each new class.

Class 19 is the last class Prof. Jessen taught for BI-Fudan MBA program. The students wrote an article in memory of Prof. Svein Arne Jessen.

The sudden passing of Professor Jessen was a great shock to those who knew him, especially for us BI-Fudan MBA Class 19, the last class he taught.

We met you on our opening ceremony, and your lecture is of life-long value both in career and personal life. Your professionalism, wisdom was impressive. Your warm smile made the whole class a cozy place to stay on the chilly winter days. You are not gone, because you are always on our minds, the clear laughter, the smart pace, the chic words.

In grief, we praise, for your devoted teaching career, for your brilliant life, for all you’ve seen, all you’ve done. May you rest in heaven!
