Rectors and Deans from all over the world have ranked the best known business schools. BI Norwegian School of Management is ranked as the 25th most well-known business school in Europe, and as number 46 in the world.
The ranking is relevant because rectors and deans at 1000 selected business schools are behind it. These are informants with high competence in this area, says President at BI Norwegian School of Management, Tom Colbjornsen.
In Norway it is only BI Norwegian School of Management that is placed in the top category ”Universal Business Schools with Major International Influence”, together with Copenhagen Business School and Stockholm Business School in the Nordic Countries. These three Nordic business schools get the top grade 5.
It is very good news that we are ranked as the 25th most known business school in Europe. This shows that BI has good visibility internationally, says Colbjornsen. And I am proud that BI has received a top grade. Only ten percent of the business schools in the ranking has achieved five palms.
A total of 100 business schools in the world have received Eduniversal’s top grade. What these schools have in common is that they are regarded as insitutions of higher education with a ”Major International Influence”.
Eduniversal, a part of the French consulting company SMBG (the leading French company within student counceling and HR), is responsible for the worldwide ranking, where 1000 rectors and deans around the world are asked to recommend institutions of higher education from different countries. The recommendations forms the basis for the ranking of the worlds’ 1000 top business schools. In addition to the recommendations, an international scientific committee analyzed the international influence of each business school:
-Universality
-International acknowledgement
-Quality
