Wednesday, 3rd of December 2008, the BI-Fudan MBA program opened their 11th MBA class at School of Management, Fudan University, Shanghai. Participating in the opening ceremony were prominent guests, among whom were the Norwegian Consul General Mr. Fred H. Nomme, BI Norwegian School of Management Executive Vice President Mr. Jens Petter Tøndel, Dean at BI Executive School Prof. Bjørn Hennestad and Associate Dean, School of Management, Fudan University Prof. Yin Zhiwen.
The new students of the BI-Fudan MBA program showed up eager to start a new chapter in their lives. After a brief orientation session they were formally welcomed and the MBA 11 class had officially started.
Motivating speeches from all VIPs that attended were highly appreciated. First speaker was the Norwegian Consul General Mr. Fred H. Nomme who shared anecdotes about Norway and Norwegians in general, before Executive Vice President Mr. Jens Petter Tøndel formally wished all the new students welcome to the BI-Fudan MBA program.
Besides, some students from the last class, MBA 10, attended the ceremony and welcomed their new fellow students to join in the program. This new MBA class has the highest number of students that are not Chinese nationals so far in this specific program’s history.
