James D. Murphy (MURPH)
Murph, the Founder & CEO of Afterburner, Inc., has a unique and powerful mix of leadership skills in both the military and business worlds. He has logged over 1,200 hours as an instructor pilot in the F-15, and has accumulated over 3,200 hours of flight time in other high-performance jet aircraft.
Prior to his service in the U.S. Air Force, Murph had a successful career in imaging equipment sales, where he helped increase his company's sales by 500%. Years later, Murph returned to his love of business and became Director of Sales for a small paint company. He engaged the proven Flawless Execution ModelSM and increased his company’s sales from $5 million to $52 million.
Realizing that many companies could benefit from these same concepts, Murph started Afterburner in early 1996. He has had several publications related to Flawless Execution ModelSM.

Daniel S. McAtee
Dan currently is the president & CEO of Tree Island Industries. He held 15 years progressive management roles at various GE businesses. He started his career as a Staff Research Scientist at GE R&D; then worked in operations, marketing, sales and general management roles at Super Abrasives, Plastics, Quarts, Lighting, Industrial Systems. Prior the current role, Dan was also the president of Werner Extruded Products and Tyco A&E products. Dan has had extensive global experience; had established and managed operations in 34 countries around the world. Dan was one of the earliest certified 6 Sigma Master Black Belt and trainer at GE. He is also the author / co-author of several US patents and technical papers.
