Mr. Hanno Roberts

BIOGRAPHY

Hanno Roberts is a Full Professor of Management Accounting and Control at the Norwegian School of Management ( Norway ). Professor Roberts holds a MBA degree from the Rotterdam School of Management, and a Ph.D. degree from the University of Maastricht .

Hanno Roberts is currently a faculty member of the BI-Fudan MBA program in China where he teaches Organizational Management and Control. He has also been teaching in MBA programmes across Europe since 1993. Since then, he taught MBA and Executive MBA programmes in France , Germany , Spain , and Sweden as a visiting professor in the area of Management Accounting and Control. He holds a Doctorate degree from the University of Maastricht (1992) and started at BI Norwegian School of Management's MBA program in 1996.

His research and teaching interests revolve around the management accounting and control aspects of the knowledge-based firm. He was involved in several European projects on Intellectual Capital and continues to work on the link between knowledge management and managerial accounting. This also led him to develop an active interest in so-called Local Information Systems on which he has published with several Swedish colleagues. A citizen of Europe , Hanno Roberts is a member of the Editorial Board of several Management Accounting journals, and of a number of professional and academic associations in the management and accounting disciplines.

Hanno Roberts has been awarded "Best MBA Faculty" of BI Norwegian School of Management in 2004, 2005 and 2006.
