Successful Opening of the BI-Fudan MBA Alumni Forum in Shanghai the 29th of November
The BI-Fudan MBA Alumni Forum was successfully opened by Vice President and Dean of Exeutive School, Prof. Bjørn Hennestad and Associate Dean of School of Management, Prof. Yin Zhiwen last Thursday, 29th of November.
BI Norwegian School of Management and School of Management, FudanUniversity, have together launched a new alumni forum for the large group of alumni who graduated from the BI-Fudan Programs. The forum seeks to be a meeting place for alumni, BI and Fudan faculty and the international business community in Shanghai. Each event will present an up-to-date topic related to today’s business life, with one speaker with an academic background, and one with long business management experience. One of the main aims is that the event will become an interesting meeting place for researchers and practitioners.
At the opening of the forum the 29th of November, the featuring speakers were Prof. Hanno Roberts from BI Norwegian School of Management together with Mr. Paul Campbell, Vice President of DNV, China. The topic was Intellectual Capital, which turned out to be a most suitable topic for the evening since the speakers stressed the importance of value created in networks – just the kind that the forum seeks to facilitate.
Present in the audience were among others the Norwegian Consul General, Mr. Fred Nomme, Vice President and Dean of Executive School, BI Norwegian School of Management, Prof. Bjørn Hennestad and the Associate Dean of School of Management, FudanUniversity, Prof.Yin Zhiwen. A large group of alumni had also found the way to the event together with representatives from the Norwegian business community.
