摘要：We study price competition in a network setting where final products are combinations of intermediate products supplied by (possibly) different multiproduct firms. We model consumers' choices of the final products based on a general demand system, which nests constant elasticity of substitution (CES) and multinomial logit (MNL) demands. Even though the associated pricing game may not be a standard aggregative game, we develop a generalized nested fixed-point argument to show the existence of a pricing equilibrium. This new method is called a partially aggregative games approach. We study the key properties of this method, provide comparative statics based on the network structure, and analyze the uniqueness of the pricing equilibrium under CES and MNL demands. Finally, we discuss applications to mergers of complements and entry analysis.

主讲人简介：对外经济贸易大学助理教授，博士毕业于美国南加利福尼亚大学经济学系，主要研究方向为产业经济学。他近期主要致力于多产品企业竞争和定价策略的理论研究，并结合国际航空业的数据来验证理论模型中的结论。研究成果发表在《Transportation Research Record》期刊。曾主持美国交通部研究基金一项（Airport Cooperative Research Program）。
