演讲者：Prof. Si Li Associate Professor, Wilfrid Laurier Univeristy in Canada
嘉宾简介:
Dr. Si Li is an Associate Professor of Finance at Wilfrid Laurier Univeristy in Canada, and is currently visiting PBC School of Finance at Tsinghua University. She completed her Ph.D. in Finance from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University in the U.S., and joined Laurier in July 2005. She obtained her bachelor and master degrees from Antai College of Economics and Management at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
Dr. Li’s research interests include empirical corporate finance, executive compensation, corporate misreporting, capital structure, bankruptcy, and incentives. Her research has been published in Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, and other journals. Her paper in the Review of Finance has won the Deutsche Bank Prize in Financial Economics, which was awarded for the best paper published in the journal. Her paper on uncertainty, risk, and incentives has recently won the TCFA Best Paper Award. Dr. Li teaches corporate finance and advanced corporate finance at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and has received teaching excellence awards for many times.
