On January 21, 2022, the Fudan MBA iLab Business Challenge officially kicked off. As the fruit of the sci-tech innovation strategy adopted by the Fudan University School of Management (FDSM), the iLab Business Challenge aims to provide a platform of practice for the MBA students. This year, the part-time MBA students are to study and solve real world problems faced by enterprises in the healthcare industry.
At the launching ceremony, the 10 competing teams presented themselves through videos. Then an inspiring roundtable discussion was held among professors from FDSM and senior managers in the industry, who shared their observations on innovations integrating artificial intelligence and biomedicine, as well as their insights on opportunities and challenges of China's pharmaceutical industry.
In the next month, the teams must quickly familiarize themselves with their partner company and the industry concerned through field visits and dialogues with senior executives, before they carry out a diagnosis and propose innovative solutions by putting in use what they have learned in class.
