Lian Guan and Lu Jiyao are both winners of the First Class GMAT Scholarship of the Fudan International MBA program, which means their study will be fully funded by the school.
Lian worked in the education industry for 5 years before he joined a fund management company. Having realized that he is in an ever-demanding industry, where even little bit of carelessness may cause him to fall behind, he became determined to obtain sustainable competitiveness through studying in the Fudan International MBA program.
Lu worked as an audit in one of the Big Four and subsequently in financial consulting. Facing the complicated international and domestic situations, he began to reconsider his career development route. The Fudan International MBA program not only meets his needs in enriching his knowledge reserve and accumulating high-quality network resources, its international teaching, dual degree and other opportunities also perfectly match with his long-term career expectations.
As to the preparation of the GMAT exam, Lian believes that the difficulty lies in the vocabulary and long, complicated sentences, which he conquered eventually with his persistence and skillful practice. Lu thinks that the greatest challenge is the distraction, whether from work, family or lack of self-control. While preparing for the GMAT test, he tried his best to eliminate all interference factors and insisted on studying from 7pm to 11pm every night on weekdays and all day long on weekends, and finally scored 760.
