The collaboration between Fudan University School of Management and MIT Sloan School of Management has a long history. Both of the schools have established an in-depth and diversified cooperation in second-degree programs, summer overseas courses and elective courses. In light of the pandemic, the 2021 summer course themed “entrepreneurship, innovation and digital transformation” combined online learning with MIT professors and company visits in China.
The students gained more insight on digital business models, innovation ecology, and current trends of entrepreneurial and social media strategies. In addition to the theory study, they paid a visit to iFlytek, the leading enterprise in the field of artificial intelligence in China, who provides solutions to apply the latest AI technology to education, medical care, office and daily life. This in-depth visit inspired the students to gain a deep and comprehensive understanding of the digital transformation happening in the industries and in the society.
The solid cooperation between the two business schools has opened up new horizons for the Fudan MBA students. Through three weekends of study, not only have the students grasped the global trends on related topics, they have also enhanced their perception of the current situation of domestic technological enterprises.
