The 2021 Fudan MBA Program Opening Ceremony & “JOIN” Orientation Closing Ceremony was held on 11th September.
Mr. CHU Yongquan, Associate Dean of Graduate School, Fudan University, pointed out that Fudan is undergoing rapid development so as to follow the long-term development strategies of the nation. He hopes the students can keep in mind their goal, make full use of the resources provided by the Fudan platform and achieve their dreams in the next two years of study.
Prof. FENG Tianjun, Director of Fudan MBA Program, said that the 834 newly enrolled students of the Class of 2023 are all bearers of the Fudan MBA value system “iLead”: innovation, love, excellence, responsibility, and diversity. He also shed light upon the fact that one quarter of have a career background in next-generation information technologies, high-end equipment, new materials, new energy, energy conservation and environmental protection, as well as biomedicine – the six major technological innovation fields.
The alumni of Fudan MBA, Class of 2010, Mr. ZHANG Yifeng told everyone what a significant role the Fudan MBA program had played in his life and career. He encouraged the students of the Class of 2023 to embrace a better future through refueling themselves with systematic knowledge and professional training through their two-year MBA study in Fudan.
Prof. LU Xiongwen, Dean of School of Management, Fudan University, expressed his hope for the student to become future leaders through their learning journey in Fudan. He emphasized that the global competition nowadays is essentially a contest of scientific and technological strength. Having integrated technological innovation into the long term strategy, Fudan MBA program is devoted to help the students in promoting the upgrading of their respective industries.
Tian Heng, representative of the volunteers for the orientation, reported to the audience the arrangement of the two-month orientation and the overall performance of the new students.
