Three Fudan IMBA alumni, Fan Qian, Zhu Xingyu, Liu Siyang, shared their stories of career transition after graduation this July. They’ve explored new possibilities and reconstructed their career path in the innovative drive of the Fudan IMBA program.
Fan seized the opportunity to study for the second degree at Yale offered by the Fudan MBA program. After graduation, she got the job offer from Apple as a project manager, which had been her dream job for a long time. “The creative atmosphere is particularly intense here at Apple. I need the innovative thinking to solve problems and ultimately bring perfect products to users,” Fan said.
Zhu got some valuable internship opportunities through the iLab project and events organized by the school. Now he has joined UNISOC, a leading Chinese fabless semiconductor company. As a product manager, Zhu is responsible for R&D of consumer hardware products. “What we do here is groundbreaking, which makes me feel extremely motivated.”
Liu set a clear goal of career transition very early during her study in the Fudan IMBA program, and soon became an expert in front-end analysis and decision-making. Eventually she entered Ping An Leasing, which takes “finance + technology” as its current strategy.
