This July, Mr. Chen Xiaogang, President & CEO at Infinity Capital and the Fudan International MBA alumnus, was invited by the Fudan MBA program to give an online speech for the students on Israel’s innovation ecosystem.
In recent years, Israel has earned a reputation for being a hub of innovation and "the Silicon Valley of the Middle East". Mr. Chen summarized the main characteristics of the Israeli entrepreneurship. He pointed out that the investment in Israel has been concentrated in industries such as software, information technology, data and analysis, artificial intelligence, etc.. The innovations in Israeli companies have been closely integrated with the European and American markets. Meanwhile, Israeli entrepreneurs are very skilled in making the best use of the capital market, and they often attach great importance to protecting their intellectual property rights. Serial entrepreneurs are commonly seen in Israel. Chen went on to make some advice for Chinese entrepreneurs based on what he has observed from the innovation scene in Israel.
