In 2020, Shen Yufei, former senior homologation strategy engineer, became an industrial competition and intelligence analysis manager, which means higher requirements regarding his analytical skills and management thinking. Having always believed that a MBA background would be a booster for an engineer’s career development, Shen decided this was the right moment to start his business studies.
Though learning knowledge about a brand new field has been rather challenging, for Shen, the value of MBA lies more in the training and exercises he got concerning logical thinking, communication skills, as well as the expansion of horizons.
In Shen’s opinion, the accelerated change of the society means that old patterns are soon to be broken and new opportunities are arriving. Every industry and everyone needs to make adjustments accordingly. It is the inevitable transformation of the automobile industry that has prompted Shen to seek his own transition through studying in the Fudan MBA program.
