When Sun Cong, previously a HR manager, realized that in the rapidly changing workplace, true stability should be a continuous process of overcoming challenges and self-improvement, he joined the Fudan IMBA program.
Sun described his study in the program as "a wonderful journey of cognition enhancement". His vision was largely broadened in the communications with the professors and his classmates. "Here, social networking is not only about the collision of ideas, but also a process of self-exploration," emphasized Sun.
The alumni mentor project initiated by the Career Development Office (CDO) of Fudan University School of Management provided Sun with a preliminary understanding of the human resources career path in Shanghai.
The high-quality platform of the Fudan IMBA program has catalyzed his growth and helped him to acquire the ability to remain confident and calm when facing crisis. After graduating, Sun cofounded a consulting company with several classmates of Fudan IMBA program. And when the business went stale, with the help from Fudan CDO and alumni mentors, he smoothly completed the transition back to an employee and joined Fosun International as an HRM.
