How to build sustainable Employ-ability

The term “employability” is frequently used nowadays. What changes should we embrace so as to maintain our employability?

1 .Continuously getting promoted in the same organization is no longer the only, nor the best solution. We need to shift our traditional idea of employment to the cultivation of ability through working. What organizations provide are the platform and resources for us to become more competitive in the employment market.

2. Many companies are measuring talents by whether they are willing to embrace change, to learn new things, and to carry on when encountering difficulties.

3. We must always think about "how to get the next job". With the rise of the "gig economy", upgrading our abilities is more important than planning the route of career.

4. One of the toughest challenges in maintaining our competitiveness is to stay healthy physically and mentally, which is a prerequisite for us to steadily perform efficient work.

5. If our set of skills are apps, then our values, personality, thinking patterns, and self-management are our operating system, which, if in good condition, allow us to make better use of our professional skills and calmly respond to changes.
