Guo Yumeng, an alumnus of the 2015 class, shared his experience of career transition. He worked for two years at SABIC before joining Fudan IMBA program with a full scholarship, wishing to break through the engineer thinking and improve his knowledge structure.
He was impressed by what a great importance Fudan IMBA program attaches to combining lectures with practice. One telling example was the Wharton-Fudan Global Consulting Practicum he took part in, one of the Global iLab projects. It not only enhanced his business acumen, but also helped tremendously in cultivating his team thinking.
Thanks to the international platform of the program, Guo went on an exchange at McGill University and lived the charm of multiculturalism in Mexico.
Guo switched to the consulting industry smoothly following the internship opportunity offered by CDO, the very first full-time MBA career development center among the business schools in China.
Guo feels intensively "nourished" through his study in Fudan IMBA program. "I hope I can maintain the Fudan-style independent thinking and stay true to my original aspirations."
