Based on the "Double Circulation" pattern, how can the Yangtze River Delta further open up, and improve its international competitiveness? Professor Rui Mingjie from Fudan University School of Management put forward the following suggestions:
1. Strengthen strategic emerging industries such as smart manufacturing, integrated circuits, new materials; meanwhile, speed up the transformation and upgrading of the existing traditional manufacturing industries.
2. Enhance the protection of the environment and develop ecotourism in the Yangtze River Delta.
3. Optimize the system of fair competition and open market; realize coordinated development of the regional economy in the Yangtze River Delta.
4. Build a technological innovation center in Shanghai, and coordinate its development with the advanced manufacturing and service industries in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui province.
