Live-streaming e-commerce, short video marketing, social commerce ... With the new consumption becoming even more trendy in the post-pandemic era, design of the business model is no longer the icing on the cake for business operation: It has turned into something as crucial as technological innovation.
In the 2020 Jiemian New Consumption Forum, Professor Wang Anyu from Fudan University School of Management shared three common ways of thinking in the innovation on business model:
1. Analyze the consumption scenario and innovate on the consumption values. Figure out the pain points of the prospective customers in specific consumption scenarios, and improve the product and/or service accordingly.
2. Encourage customer participation. Embrace personalization as part of the consumption experience.
3. Develop closely related new businesses.
