As the Sci-tech Innovation Board officially launched for one year, Professor Lu Xiongwen, Dean of the Fudan University School of Management, shared his views on talents, enterprise management and the development in the field of sci-tech innovation in an interview.
Fudan University School of Management was the one of the first business schools in China to provide entrepreneurial education. Half of the iLab projects in the MBA program focus on sci-tech enterprises. In recent years, the professors have dived deep into sci-tech companies, to conduct studies as well as to provide services as consultants or directors. The school also provides policy support and scholarships for founders of sci-tech enterprises in their application of the EMBA and MBA programs, so as to nourish technological entrepreneurship in all aspects.
Startups built by the alumni take flights in the fields of artificial intelligence, biomedicine, new materials, new energy, cloud computing, etc. About 400 alumni serve as senior executives in listed sci-tech innovation companies and those preparing to get listed. There are also alumni focusing on investments in the high-tech field.
