For many Chinese enterprises, the outbreak of the pandemic has brought remote working and digitalized operation to reality with an incredibly fast speed. Many industries have seen surges in their online sales. Internet companies, especially those in the field of remote office software, have ushered in an unprecedented era of opportunity.
So how to make the digital economy become more universalized in order to better promote consumption and accelerate industrial transformation? Professor Su Yong from Fudan University School of Management believes there are three keys:
1. Put more thinking in how to better organize and use resources by making the best of the internet technologies.
2. Fully embrace the internet and engage in management innovation.
3. Discover and explore new business models, enhance the merging of the online and offline, and make sure the production and the services are highly integrated.
