In a live broadcast by Professor Feng Tianjun, the Executive Director of the Fudan University Business Analysis and Operation Innovation Research Center, examined the changes in China’s industrial supply chain ecosystem and gave advice to Chinese enterprises in the face of the pandemic as well as the trendy idea of reducing global supply chain reliance on China.
By analyzing the cases of Gree Electric and JD.com, Professor Feng suggested that the Chinese enterprises must remain customer-oriented while building their supply chain system. High-end manufacturing enterprises should focus on technological innovation, perfecting the products and improving the customer experience; while mid-range and low-end manufacturing enterprises can focus on innovating in the sales process.
