Another Big Success in Sumol + Compal Project for Portugal-China Lab 2015

On August 28th, 2015, we, as a team working for Portugal-China Lab, gathered at Sumol+Compal’s Head Office in Lisbon, Portugal for the final day of presentation.
Remember when this team was formed and the project kicked off in Shanghai, both we and Portuguese partners are relatively immature yet full of passion and enthusiasm. Through a series of joint work, including interviews and visits, team spirit and cooperative relationship were developed among us, offering us great confidence in the future of our project.
Grateful for the precious opportunity provided by the schools, every member in our team spared no efforts in delivering the best results for the client. In tackling various challenges and difficulties, not only were our capabilities strengthened, but also our confidence and determination enhanced. We endeavored to live up to the expectation of Portugal-China Lab, which is to cultivate young talents and future leaders.
Besides support from the schools, we also received generous help from the client. The visit to Sumol+Compal’s manufacturing facility and R&D area, the talk with their experts, and the discussion about the company’s vision and prospect with seniors lent us deep insights and further understandings, thus enabled us to bring our project to a better end.
On Aug 28th, the final day, we were all dressed up and waited with high spirits at the center meeting room in the Sumol+Compal’s Head Office, ready to deliver the speech and final presentation which crystalized all of our devotion and efforts throughout the project.
After the opening remark and warm welcome from the company representative, Júlio Gomes, and remarks from our professor and mentor, Dr. Qiu Lijin (Emma) as well as the Lisbon MBA mentor, Dr. Jorge Velosa, the presentation began.
It went smoothly and perfectly. The team presented the insights, the situations, and ground-breaking solutions, and realized sound interaction with the class, which was exactly what we had expected. We were so proud when the presentation was commented as being impressive and of high business value.
We all brought ourselves to the best in this wonderful journey. Thank you, our client for the rich knowledge and experience. Thank you, Fudan, School of Management and the Lisbon MBA, mentors, Emma and Jorge and faculty member, Maggie and Marta to always support us. Last but not least, thank you to all members, Yoyo and Eunice, pTar and the Lisbon team, Caro, Sergio, and Maria for the efforts we made this happen. This is our shared treasure which we would keep forever.
