CreditEase Wealth Management Team
On Jan. 13th 2014, the CreditEase Wealth Management Team of Local Lab officially visited the company in CreditEase’s office in SWFC. Led by the team’s instructor, Professor XuHaoping, the five team members learned the information of CreditEase in detail as well as the company’s requirements of this advisory project. The company manager in charge of this project, Ms. Chen, shared the knowledge of company background, business model, development process and company culture with us and held a heated discussion.
We learned that by seven years CreditEase has developed into a nation-wide leading P2P company, managing 26000 employees, serving over tens of thousands of clients. The most risky business of P2P is risk management. Every year there are several companies in this industry bankrupt because of fierce competition. However, CreditEase keeps on developing and keeps the record of zero loss to lenders.
CreditEase is still making progress. Facing the developing competitors, CreditEase is looking for a solution to break the bottleneck and dig deeper into the segment market by collaboration with Fudan IMBA. After hearing the request of CreditEase, Prof. Xu and the team members brainstormed a brief idea, and suggested handing in a brief written proposal; manage to participate in their routine meetings in order to work out a most satisfying solution for both the school and the company.
