主题：Promotion of Cooperation via Endogenous Rewards in a Public Goods Experiment

摘要: We propose an endogenous reward setup with tax (20%) where each player can freely distribute his share of the tax revenue to other members of the community. We observe significant rising trend of cooperation in the rewards conditions, converging to significantly higher level of cooperation compared to the controls. This finding is novel for a reward setup that satisfies the budget balance requirement. Rewards are positively correlated to contribution with the cooperators displaying higher sensitivity and the defectors rewarding the top contributor the most. Cooperators and conformists have higher or equal level of payoff than defectors in the rewards setup. A symmetric Nash equilibrium with a low contribution exists. Observed heterogeneity may be helpful in light of the conditional cooperation model.
主讲人简介：杨春雷博士毕业于德国Dortmund University，现任台湾中央研究院研究員。他的研究兴趣是微观，博弈理论和实验。他的研究成果发表在Journal of Economic Theory, Games and Economic Behavior, European Economic Review, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Experimental Economics等期刊上。
