演讲者：Dr. Fei DING Assistant Professor of Finance, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology

简介：Fei Ding is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She obtained her Ph.D. in Business Administration from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business in 2007. Her research focuses on theoretical corporate finance, more specifically, in the areas of financial contracting, organizational design, and agency problems. She tries to resolve or mitigate conflicts of interests in bilateral and multilateral agency settings in the presence of moral hazard and information asymmetry. Her work addresses many real-world situations such as commission bundling in the mutual fund industry, the escalation and secular trends in CEO pay, the value of corporate diversification, capital budgeting efficiency, and incentives to innovation in conglomerate firms. Her work explains and reconciles many seemingly contradictory findings in the literature, and produces valuable empirical and policy implications to both practitioners and regulatory agencies.
